Wayne County Board Agenda Appears Light
The Wayne County Board is set to meet this evening at 7 in the basement of the Wayne County Courthouse.
On the agenda, there will be a public comment section and comments from the county board chairman. Following that, the board will hear office reports from the highway department, states attorney, circuit clerk, sheriff, county clerk, treasurer, supervisor of assessments, coroner, and health department. Under new business, the board will hear any ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funding requests. Under committee reports, the board will hear from the claims and finance committee for the payment of bills, sheriff, the county EMA, animal control and welfare, road and bridge, insurance and education, building and grounds safety, economic development, rules and policy, and the liquor commission.
