Bliss Moves On to State Championship in High Jump as Several Mules Compete at Boys State Track
Fairfield Community High School’s Boys Track Team has several members competing on an individual basis at the IHSA Boys Track State Finals at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
Trent Bliss has qualified for the State Finals in long jump with a jump of 1,85 Meters. That was good for 14th in preliminary action.
Grant Jennette finished 31st in the preliminary 1600 Meter Dash with a time of 4:44.35.
Trey Mason finished 16th in 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 42.63 seconds.
The 4 by 400 Meter Relay Team of Justin Johnson, Trey Mason, Grant Jennette, and Holt Gilbert finished 25th with a time of 3:37.52.
Jude Carter and Aiden Dunn participated in Pole Vault, but did not score.
