SPC Continues Enhanced Risk of Severe Weather for Sunday
The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center is continuing to show an enhanced risk of severe weather for our area on Sunday.
In their 1:30 AM update, the SPC shows the entire area under the risk with all hazards on the table, including large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes. Weather officials also say that torrential rains may accompany these storms and lead to flash flooding.
In information that was put out on Friday by the NWS at Paducah, this area has an even greater risk for damaging weather.
National Weather Service forecasters say that the main timing for our area is late Sunday Afternoon thru Sunday Night.
