DEKALB – Police report that the victim of a shooting in a northwest DeKalb neighborhood has died.
Anthony Hernandez, 20, was shot multiple times in the early morning of June 8 in the 2200 block of Eves Circle East.
Officers reported that when they arrived at the scene, they spoke with another male who said he had called 911. He reportedly told officers that he shot the victim following a fight. DeKalb police say the man has a valid FOID and a concealed carry license and has been cooperating with authorities.
DeKalb police say no charges have been filed at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
