On Tuesday afternoon, a semi-truck crash backed up traffic in the southwest suburbs.
According to Illinois State Police, the semi crashed on Interstate 55 near Renwick Road in Plainfield around 4:30 p.m.
The truck collided with a concrete median, leaking fuel and blocking all three southbound lanes.
The ISP stated that no injuries had been reported.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
Traffic was moving on the left shoulder before all lanes reopened.
