An Aurora chiropractor is facing additional charges after three new victims came forward to authorities.
Murtaza Hameed, 46, of Naperville has been charged with sexual assault, sexual abuse, and battery. He was first charged last month with abusing two boys in his care.
Hameed had been in custody, but earlier this week, a judge granted him pre-trial release despite the state’s objection. He will be confined to his home with electronic monitoring and is not permitted to have contact with any minors other than his own children.
According to prosecutors, Hameed abused a 17-year-old boy in his office in Aurora’s 3800 block of McCoy Drive in January. The investigation led authorities to a similar incident in 2016. Three more victims came forward following Hameed’s arrest.
