On Tuesday, crews searched a north suburban forest preserve, including bodies of water, for a man who went missing Monday night.
Arlington Heights police are searching for 54-year-old Adam Gerber, who was last seen around 11:30 p.m. Monday near Arlington Heights and Lake Cook roads. His vehicle was discovered there.
The search led police to the Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve in Long Grove. Chopper 7 flew over a large police presence around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Gerber was still missing on Tuesday evening, according to police.
Police asked anyone living or working near Lake Cook and Arlington Heights roads to check their surveillance cameras for any signs of Gerber between late Monday evening and early Tuesday morning.
