KANE COUNTY – Kane County deputies successfully rounded up cattle that had escaped on Thursday morning, bringing an end to the search.
Deputies said in a Facebook post early Thursday morning that they were working to capture several escaped cattle that had broken free in unincorporated Maple Park.
Deputies reported that a group of red and black cattle had gotten loose near Keslinger, Meredith, and Watson roads.
Deputies used drones to assist the owners in capturing the loose cattle, and they returned home by 10 a.m. Thursday.
