A McDonald’s in the suburbs is honoring the memory of a regular customer who died recently.
The restaurant in Burbank held a special ceremony for the man known as “Gene Gene The Dancing Machine.”
Gene Kryzkrowski, 93, was a popular customer who entertained both crew and customers.
Kryzkrowski’s family said he was devastated when his wife of 63 years died. They enjoyed dancing together, so they encouraged him to continue dancing.
So he went to McDonald’s in Burbank, which has live music on Wednesdays.
Wednesday night’s ceremony featured a commemorative plaque at Kryzkrowski’s favorite booth, as well as plenty of dancing.
