Understanding the SSI Payment Schedule

When Is the Next SSI Payment in August 2025?
The next SSI deposit will occur in August 2025, and it will be paid on August 1. If the 1st of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment is usually made on the last business day of the previous month. Since August 1, 2025, falls on a Friday, the SSI payment for August will be issued on Friday, August 1, 2025.

November 1, however, falls on a Saturday, so the November payment will be issued on Friday, October 31.
The December payment will also be advanced to Friday, November 28, because December 1 is on a Monday.
Additionally, December 2025 payments will be issued on December 31, corresponding to the January 2026 deposit. While this may create the impression of “non-payment” periods in these months, rest assured that the total annual amount remains the same.
